Narrative of Professional Career

Dr. Achint Utreja joined the department in 2014. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from India. After graduating from dental school, he was a general dentistry resident at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh, India for two years. He then obtained a master's degree in Oral Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry. Following this, he worked for one year as a Research Specialist at the UIC College of Dentistry and then joined the Ph.D. in Biomedical Science program at the University of Connecticut (UConn) Health Center. He earned his doctorate and completed the Orthodontics Residency program at UConn in 2014.
