The department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry of the Indiana University School of Dentistry is a multidisciplinary hospital and office based practice providing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and dental care. Program Accreditation Visit/Request Comments


The Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery will participate in a Commission on Dental Accreditation site visit for accreditation purposes, September 6, 2018.

The United States Department of Education (USDE) requires accrediting agencies to provide an opportunity for Third-Party Comments, in writing, with respect to institutions or programs scheduled for review. Comments must relate to accreditation standards and accreditation policies for programs sponsoring oral and maxillofacial surgery resident training.

Third-Party Comments from the faculty, students, patients and/or consumers, program administrators, commission consultants, specialty and dental related organizations are welcomed.

Comments must be received in the Commission Office at least 60 days prior to the visit. If comments are not relevant to these issues, the individual will be notified and where appropriate, referred to the appropriate agency.

For those individuals interest in submitting comments, requests can be made to the Commission Office for receiving standards and/or the Commission’s Evaluation Policies and Procedures. The Commission’s policy on third-party comments may be obtained by contacting the commission.
