MSD Interviews will take place Friday, October 26, 2012.  Applicants files will be reviewed and contacted in coming weeks for interview invitations.


Fellowship applications due 31 January 2012.  Decisions for the fellows beginning 1 July 2012 will be made in mid-March. 

  Class of 2014 has been selected.  Congratulations new residents!
  Applications for the Orthodontic Fellowship Program are now being accepted. The application deadline is January 31, 2012. Decisions will be sent out via e-mail in March 2012. The fellowship class of 2012 will begin 01 July 2012 and go through 30 June 2013.

  Dr. Sean Liu received the Beni Solow Award for the best article in the European Journal of Orthodontics in 2010. Dr. Liu accepted the award on June 19, 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey for his article titled 'Continuous forces are more effective than intermittent forces in expanding sutures'.

 MSD Program Interviews will take place on Friday, 22 October 2010. We will only be interviewing one day. Invitations will be sent no later than Wednesday, 06 October 2010 via e-mail.

   Dr. Donald I. George has joined our department effective today. He will come two Mondays a month and provide support in the Craniofacial Anomalies Clinic at Riley Hospital for Children in the morning and pre-doctoral clinic in the afternoon. Dr. Serkis Isikbay has resigned to go into private practice. We have begun a search for a new pre-doctoral program director.
   The Department received preliminary approval to begin accepting applications for an orthodontic fellowship. The Fellowship will accept two fellows who will receive 1,500 continuing education credits (CEs). More information will be posted as the program develops.
   Drs. Liu and Stewart have started a new clinical study to measure the efficacy of MARA and Herbst appliances in advancing the lower jaw. For more information, contact Ms. Gayle Massa at (317) 278-1077.
  The department begins its second capital campaign for the James J. Baldwin Endowed Chair in Orthodontics. Mailings will be sent to alumni and friends of the department this week.
