Chapter 33, Post 9/11 GI Bill

Eligibility:  Anyone who served under Title 10 orders after September 11, 2001.  Percentage of eligilibity based on time served active duty.

Late fees and penalties waived.

  • Veterans who are using the Post 9/11, Chapter 33 GI Bill benefit will be exempt from late payment fees since it is recogized that payments from the VA are expected to be applied to your IUPUI Bill later than our published deadlines.
  • Following payment from the Department of Veterans Affairs on your account, please pay any remaining amount.

Students entitled to receive 100% of the benefits payable under the Post 9/11 GI Bill, are eligible to apply to the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Students must fill out the Yellow Ribbon Program agreement form and return it to the IUSD Office of Graduate Education (DS 280B).

Chapter 30, Montgomery GI BIll

Eligibility:  Any enlisted member that paid $1200 to GI bill while on Active Duty.

Chapter 1606, Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve

Eligiblity:  Any National Guard or Reservist currenlty in good drilling status with their unit.

Chapter 35, Dependents Educational Assistance Program

Eligiblity:  Any spouse or dependent of a veteran that was killed in the line of duty or classified by the VA as 100% permanently disabled.
