Registration and Abstract Submission
Wednesday,Â February 17th through Wednesday, March 9th
REMEMBER: Before beginning the registration process, you must have mentor approval of your abstract!
Make sure you have the following documents ready for uploading:
- Abstract (REQUIRED) Must be formatted according to these instructions: Abstract Format Instructions
- HIPAA Compliance Affirmation (if required)
- IU Communications Photo Consent and Release Form (if required)
- Patient Authorization for Release of Information (if required)
- IACUC or IRB Documentation (if required)
No abstracts will be accepted after 11:59 PM on Wednesday, March 9th.
Do you wish to compete for IUSD Research Day awards?
If you answer YES, the Research Day committee will match your presenter category to the available award and you will be required to present your poster for judging by 4:30 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2016 in your assigned spot in the dental school. Judging will take place between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm on Thursday April 7 and you must be present during a 20-minute time slot to answer questions from the judges. You may be asked to present your poster for a second or third round of judging. If you are one of the winners on Thursday April 7, you may be selected to represent IUSD in the interschool competition where you will display your poster and answer questions from the judges on the morning of Monday, April 11. Winners will be announced and awards will be presented following the IUSD Research Day keynote address.
If you answer NO, you must be present for Research Day on Monday, April 11 to display your poster.
IMPORTANT! If your presenter category is PhD or Postdoctoral Fellow and you answer YES that you would like to compete for the awards available, you will be required to give an oral presentation including PowerPoint on Thursday April 7, 2016. Please make sure you have read the Guidelines for Oral Presentations before preparing your presentation.
