Riley Children Hospital
Riley Children's Hospital is a 255 bed facility, and was named after the poet, James Whitcomb Riley, whose poetry reflected his love of children. The hospital is devoted exclusively to providing comprehensive care to children. Today, Riley is one of the largest children's hospitals in the nation, providing many otherwise unduplicated services to patients throughout the state of Indiana.¬† In addition to its reputation as a premier children's facility, Riley also serves as a major educational facility for physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals serving children's health needs.¬† Riley Children's Hospital maintains the largest craniofacial/cleft team in the state staffed by Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons, plastic surgeons, pediatric dentists and orthodontists.
