Dr. Susan Zunt

The Center offers expertise in clinical Oral Pathology.  Dr. Zunt has more than 35 years of clinical experience in the treatment of oral mucosal disease, salivary gland disease and other complex mucosal issues. 

Dr. Zunt is Professor and Chair in the Department of Oral Pathology, Medicine and Radiology at the IU School of Dentistry.  She is the immediate past president of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, and is a member of the Oral Pathology Group biopsy service. Dr. Zunt graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry, and received her MS from Indiana University in Oral Pathology, with a minor in Oral Medicine.  Her practice interests include mucocutaneous disease, xerostomia, oral cancer and precancer.
