Giving to Oral Health Care for Cancer Patients
OHCCP Foundation
Foundation's Purpose:

The Oral Health Care for Cancer Patient Foundation Project, is a program of Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD). It has been established to improve the quality of oral health care for all underserved cancer patients through collaboration, education, advocacy, and most importantly by increasing cancer patient’s access to oral health care services.

We need your help to raise money so that we can assist underserved cancer patients with essential dental care before, during and after chemotherapy and/or radiation.

OHCCP, a program of IUSD, uses it funds in the following ways:

A portion of donations has begun to form a pool of funds which are intended to provide a small amount of direct financial assistance to underserved, uninsured, and/or under-insured, cancer patients who are in need of dental treatment. Presently we are working to help serve the dental needs of patients related to IUSD. A portion of donations help to pay for expenses associated with initial dental consultations, radiographs, pain relief, preventive and/or restorative dental services provided to adults qualifying to be Indiana University School of Dentistry patients. Our goal with your help is to expand the financial assistance portion of our program to our state, throughout the region and eventually nationally.

Additionally, donations are intended to be used to support our mission of educating dental providers, oncology health providers, and those living with cancer about the diagnosis and treatment of oral health care conditions and complications related to cancer therapies.

Finally, monies donated are used to continue developing resources that advocate for the oral health care needs of all cancer patients.

Ultimately, your gift is used for the general support and operations of the Oral Health Care for Cancer Patients Program.
